Innovative Warehouse Solutions (IWS) has signed a partnership with Amazon Shipping, a small parcel delivery network that reaches 90% of the US population. IWS, a leading eCommerce fulfillment company, will leverage Amazon Shipping's transit speeds that compete with UPS Ground and USPS Ground Advantage. The deal addresses concerns about IWS partnering with its biggest competitor, as CEO Brian Gibbons sees Amazon as a net positive for the eCommerce ecosystem. IWS will offer customized services like retail EDI, kitting, and channel-specific packaging, which are areas where Amazon Shipping may not see sufficient ROI.
