Indonesia to Impose Sanctions on Google and Meta Over Social Media Ban for Under-16s

Indonesia has issued a second summons to Google and Meta for allegedly violating a ban on social media access for under-16s. The ban, enforced since Saturday, aims to curb online threats such as pornography, cyberbullying, and internet addiction. The companies have requested a postponement and failed to comply with a first summons. If they don't comply, sanctions may be imposed.
