Indian IT Services Firms' AI Projects Fail to Deliver Sustained Results, Only 10-15% Scale

According to Forrester, only 10-15% of AI projects in Indian IT services firms make it to sustained production use, with most pilots failing to scale due to integration issues, data quality problems, and workflow redesign delays. Gartner, however, reports a sharp rise in live AI deployments, but notes that only 11% of AI service providers report direct financial value from AI projects. Despite the challenges, hiring related to AI has seen significant growth, with demand for AI and data roles rising by 38-45% YoY.
