Indian Oil Acquires First Colombian Oil Under Ecopetrol Deal Amid Russian Sanctions

Indian Oil Corp has purchased 2 million barrels of Colombian Castilla crude for delivery in late February under an optional supply deal with Ecopetrol. This is the refiner's first purchase from Colombia and marks a move to diversify from Russian oil imports, which are set to plunge to a three-year low in December due to US and EU sanctions.
