Hyderabad's Masab Tank Flyover Repair Work Causes Traffic Congestion and Safety Concerns

Repairs to the 24-year-old Masab Tank flyover in Hyderabad have caused traffic jams and bumpy rides for commuters. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is carrying out the repairs at night to minimize disruption to traffic flow. The repairs are estimated to cost ₹48 lakh and involve replacing strip seal joints to address water leakage and road damage. Maintenance officials have issued a circular to assess the structural stability of 24 old flyovers in the city.
