Honda has unveiled its first electric kei car, the N-ONE e:, for the Japanese market. Priced at ¥2.7 million ($18,300), it can travel 295 kilometers on a single charge. The company aims to promote EVs by starting with familiar models like kei cars, which account for a third of Japan's automobile market. Despite slower adoption rates in Japan compared to other countries, automakers are betting on long-term consumer preferences shifting towards cleaner transport.
