Harvard Bioscience Announces Manufacturing Consolidation to Improve Efficiency and Drive Growth

Harvard Bioscience is consolidating its manufacturing operations to improve efficiency and support long-term growth. The company will close its Holliston, MA plant and transition US production to Minneapolis, MN. Certain operations will also be relocated to facilities in Germany, Sweden, and the UK. This initiative is expected to deliver approximately $3 million in cost savings in 2027 and $4 million in annual cost savings beginning in 2028. The consolidation is expected to be completed by Q1 2027 and will improve throughput and execution.
