Off The Grid Studio Adds Solana Integration Boosting GUN Token Activity

Off The Grid studio, developed by Gunzilla Games, has unveiled a new skin inspired by Solana cofounder Anatoly Yakovenko. The skin, which includes a Solana-branded hoodie, sunglasses, and gun, is part of the studio's multi-chain strategy that now includes Solana in addition to Avalanche. The reveal was made during an X Space event where Gunzilla CEO Vlad Korolev and Solana Gaming’s Marketing Lead hinted at the addition of Yakovenko to the game, with "Toly" etched onto the Solana gun.

Korolev emphasized the importance of innovation and community-driven economy in the gaming industry. He stated that the studio believes in creating products that will be successful and famous in the future, rather than focusing on current trends. This philosophy led to their investment in Off The Grid and its community-driven economy.

The expansion to Solana is part of Gunzilla Games' strategy to increase the activity and popularity of their GUN token. Existing Avalanche GUN holders will have the option to move their tokens to Solana, although the mainnet and other blockchain features will remain on Avalanche for now. The Solana token version and token bridge option are set to go live this week on Thursday.
