Google Ordered to Pay $425.7 Million in California Privacy Lawsuit

A jury has awarded $425.7 million to plaintiffs in a California trial against Google, finding the tech giant liable for invasion of privacy and intrusion upon seclusion. Plaintiffs alleged that Google continued collecting their data despite them turning off a privacy setting. Dubin Research & Consulting congratulated the trial team, including Susman Godfrey LLP, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, and Morgan & Morgan, for their victory.
