Goodyear celebrates the 100th anniversary of its first blimp, Pilgrim, which took flight in 1925. The company began experimenting with lighter-than-air aircraft in the early 1900s and has since become an iconic symbol of corporate branding. Over the years, the Goodyear Blimp has undergone changes and improvements, including the transition to semi-rigid dirigibles and the use of high-definition cameras. Today, there are four Goodyear Blimps, with the largest being 246 feet long and holding three Olympic-sized swimming pools' worth of helium. The blimp travels over 100 days per year, with a crew of nearly 20 people.
