TotalEnergies has signed a MoU with Taiwanese company Xing Mobility to collaborate on immersive battery cooling systems for electrified applications in industry. The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of next-generation cooling technologies in marine solutions, energy storage systems, and other sectors such as stationary energy storage, mobility, and backup power for AI data centers.

TotalEnergies and XING Mobility, a global leader in immersion cooling battery technology, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on advanced immersion cooling battery systems. The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of next-generation cooling technologies in various sectors, including marine applications, energy storage systems, mobility, and backup power for AI data centers.

The collaboration will leverage TotalEnergies' expertise in advanced fluids and global energy solutions with XING Mobility's innovative immersion cooling battery system. Initially, the partnership will focus on optimizing and promoting electrified marine applications. This will be followed by expanding into energy storage solutions, mobility, and backup power for AI data centers. The collaboration will also extend to critical applications such as sportscar, electrified underground mining machinery, and aviation.

Jean Parizot, Vice President Automotive at TotalEnergies Lubrifiants, and Royce Hong, Founder and CEO of XING Mobility, signed the MOU.
