Golden Sunrise Shines: Celebrating China's Heroic Geological Team in 2024 Key Publications

The Central Publicity Department has announced the major thematic publications for 2024. One significant inclusion is "Golden Sunrise," a novel published by Tomorrow Publishing House. The book explores the development of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources' Sixth Geological Brigade, recognized as the nation's only geological team earning the title of 'Outstanding Heroic Geology Team.'

The selection process, as outlined in the Central Publicity Department's Directive (document no. 2024-18), involved meticulous organization from various regions and departments across the country. They submitted a total of 2,528 thematic publication proposals. Following an extensive review, 171 were selected as key publications for 2024, comprising 151 book themes and 20 audiovisual electronic publications.
