General Motors (GM.US) expects its long-term collaboration with

(NVDA.US) to bring more benefits. The automaker said it will use artificial intelligence, simulation, and accelerated computing technologies to co-develop the next generation of vehicles, factories, and robots. Specifically, the two companies will collaborate to build custom AI systems using Nvidia's accelerated computing platform. will also build its next generation of vehicles on the Nvidia Drive AGX platform based on the Blackwell architecture. Drive AGX will also be used for future advanced driving assistance systems and in-car hardware for enhanced driving safety experience. A key initiative is to continue to use Nvidia's "Omniverse with Cosmos" to optimize factory planning and robot use cases. Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, emphasized: "AI not only optimizes manufacturing processes and accelerates virtual testing, but also helps us build smarter cars while allowing our employees to focus on craftsmanship. By combining technology with human ingenuity, we have opened up new levels of innovation in automotive manufacturing and beyond." The financial terms of the collaboration between Nvidia and General Motors, which began four years ago, have not been disclosed.
