Ge Vernova, Hitachi Nuclear Energy, and Samsung C&T Form Alliance for BWRX-300 SMR Deployment

Ge Vernova, Hitachi Nuclear Energy & Samsung C&T have formed an alliance to deploy the BWRX-300 small modular reactor (SMR). The alliance aims to accelerate the deployment of SMRs, which can provide a low-carbon energy source and improve energy security. The BWRX-300 is a pressurized water reactor with a power output of 300 MWe. The alliance will focus on developing and commercializing the BWRX-300 SMR in the global market.
