B&G Foods to Acquire College Inn and Kitchen Basics Brands for $110M

B&G Foods has agreed to acquire Del Monte Foods Corporation II Inc.'s broth and stock business, including the College Inn and Kitchen Basics brands, for approximately $110 million in cash. The acquisition is subject to Bankruptcy Court approval and the satisfaction of customary conditions. B&G Foods was the winning bidder following a competitive auction process.
