Firehouse Subs Franchisee Files for Bankruptcy Amid Debt Struggles

CN Holdings, LLC, an Idaho Falls-based Firehouse Subs franchisee, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 23. The company operates Firehouse Subs restaurants in Idaho and Utah, and plans to sell unprofitable locations and restructure the remaining portfolio. The bankruptcy filing is attributed to significant debt taken on during the delayed construction of two new restaurants. Firehouse Subs' parent company, Restaurant Brands International, reported an 8.6% increase in systemwide sales to $1.3 billion in 2025.
