The FAA has lifted flight capacity restrictions, allowing airlines to resume regular operations after a 43-day shutdown. The agency's safety team recommended the termination of the order following a decline in staffing-trigger events. Airlines can now operate at full capacity after cancellations peaked at 5,163 flights last weekend.
