Exxon Secures Gas Deal for Mediterranean's Largest Unexplored Offshore Prospect

Exxon Mobil has partnered with Energean and Helleniq Energy to develop the largest unexplored offshore prospect in the Mediterranean. The deal will involve the development of the Karish North and Karish South gas fields, which are expected to produce around 2.5 trillion cubic feet of gas over a 30-year period. The project is expected to begin production in 2023.
