The Canadian retailer Home Hardware has adopted two Volvo VNR Electric semi-trucks for last-mile deliveries in Toronto, marking their move towards zero-emission vehicles. These trucks have a range of 442 km and are part of Volvo's expanding electric offerings, with millions of zero-emission miles driven by their customers. CAA-Quebec introduced a fully electric Lion5 flatbed tow truck, claiming it as North America's first. The vehicle, with a 210 kWh battery, offers a range of 310 km and promises significant cost savings and environmental benefits compared to diesel models. It marks a shift towards sustainable towing solutions. IVECO, known for its collaboration with Nikola, showcased the eMoovy electric van at the IAA Transportation conference.
