A Tesla Cybertruck driver died in what is believed to be the first reported fatal crash in the electric pickup truck. The Cybertruck lost control, crashed into a concrete culvert, and caught fire, resulting in the driver's death. The truck has not yet undergone third-party crash testing.

Tesla has a strong history of vehicle safety, but the Cybertruck has not been independently tested. Internal tests are assumed to be satisfactory, though no data has been publicly shared.

The Tesla Cybertruck’s tow hitch snapped off during a torture test, causing controversy. The hitch failure was exacerbated by prior damage from an impact.

Tesla is testing its Supercharger V4 with V3 cabinets, aiming for over 320 kW charging. Currently, V3 is limited to 250 kW, but new V4 cabinets are expected to enable 350 kW charging.
