Kenworth has introduced Bendix's Fusion advanced driver assist system (ADAS) to its T680 line of Class 8 semi trucks, including the Next Generation T680E battery electric semi truck. This model, unveiled at the 2025 ACT Expo, features enhancements in battery-electric technology, exterior design, and in-cab technology such as three versions of Bendix Fusion: ADAS, ADAS PRO, and ADAS PREMIER. These packages offer Adaptive Cruise Control and new safety features like Pedestrian Autonomous Emergency Braking and High Beam Assist. The Next Generation T680E boasts up to 605 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque, with a 500 kWh battery providing over 200 miles of loaded range and up to 90% charge in two hours. It is built for short and regional-haul operations, available in a 6×4 axle configuration.
