Ericsson Partners with Virgin Media O2 to Upgrade UK RAN Network

Ericsson will power the majority of Virgin Media O2's UK radio network through a five-year partnership extension worth several hundred million euros. The partnership will focus on next-gen network upgrade, tapping Ericsson's programmable 5G Standalone capabilities, including multiband radios and AI-powered analytics.
