Epson and TROY Group Unveil Advanced Document Security Solutions

Epson America and TROY Group have joined forces to launch two new secure printing solutions powered by Epson's PrecisionCore technology. The collaboration introduces the TROY ST-C5000 Secure UV Printer and the TROY WF-C21000 MICR Color Printer, designed to enhance document security and combat fraud in various industries.

TROY ST-C5000 Secure UV Printer

The ST-C5000 utilizes UV fluorescent ink to print overt or covert security markings, helping businesses and government agencies reduce counterfeiting risks. This technology enables the creation of invisible or low-visibility markings that can only be detected under UV light, providing an additional layer of security. The printer's high-speed capabilities, up to 160 pages per minute, ensure quick and efficient production of secure documents.

TROY WF-C21000 MICR Color Printer

The WF-C21000 combines MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) check printing with color capabilities, targeting financial institutions and production check printers. This integration enables the printing of color images and text on checks, enhancing their visual appeal and making them more difficult to counterfeit. The printer's high-speed printing capabilities, up to 100 pages per minute, ensure efficient production of secure checks.

Epson's heat-free inkjet technology preserves the integrity of TROY's specialty inks, unlike laser devices that can compromise ink functionality through heat exposure.
