Envision Healthcare Announces New Board Leadership, Eliasson Named Chair

Envision Healthcare announces Fredrik Eliasson as Chair of the Board of Directors and Christopher Bradbury as Board Director. Steve Nelson departs the board to serve as Executive Vice President of CVS Health and President of Aetna. Eliasson has 22 years of experience at CSX Corporation and currently serves on the boards of ArcBest, Gates Corporation, and Copeland. Bradbury has 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, having served as CEO of Integrated Home Care Services and held executive roles at CVS Health and Cigna.

Envision Healthcare, which emerged from financial reorganization in November 2022, has been undergoing significant changes since filing for bankruptcy in May [2]. The company's restructuring plan, supported by creditors and a bankruptcy court, has reduced Envision's debt by over 70% [2].
