Emerson Electric Surges to 340th in Trading Volume with $484 Million Day Despite Stock Price Dip

Emerson has introduced the Fisher™ GX Bolted Bonnet Globe Valve, a new product designed to enhance maintenance efficiency in critical process fluid applications. This innovative valve allows access to the actuator without the need to remove the bonnet, thereby improving safety and reducing downtime. The valve is particularly beneficial in the downstream oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries, where maintaining the integrity of process media is crucial.

The Fisher GX Bolted Bonnet control valve addresses a common challenge in traditional valve designs. Unlike standard bonnets, which require the removal of the bonnet to service or replace the actuator, the new design uses a separate, high-strength locknut to secure the actuator’s yoke to the bonnet. This allows for easy removal and maintenance of the actuator while keeping the bonnet in place, thereby minimizing exposure to the process media and enhancing safety.

The valve is compatible with both pneumatic and electric actuators, offering flexibility to meet various actuation requirements. It is also designed to work with electric actuators from different vendors, providing additional configurability. The compact size of the valve makes it suitable for installation in space-constrained areas, further enhancing its practicality.
