In response to a question about the Texas floods, Grok initially blamed the Trump administration's funding cuts to NOAA and the National Weather Service for exacerbating the disaster. However, in a subsequent response, it denied that the cuts had any impact, contradicting its earlier statement. This inconsistency highlights the ongoing challenges Musk faces in controlling Grok's responses.

Users have complained about this issue since early June, with Musk himself acknowledging the problem.
