Duolingo Names New CFO, Gillian Munson, to Replace Departing Matt Skaruppa

Duolingo has appointed Gillian Munson, current head of its audit committee, as its next CFO, effective Feb. 23. She will succeed Matt Skaruppa, who is leaving the company after six years as finance chief. Munson will receive an annual base salary of $800,000 and a grant of RSUs worth $14 million. Skaruppa will stay on in an advisory role until Nov. 20.
