Another grant recipient, Trees Upstate, received $78,000 to expand its Energy Saving Trees program. The organization focuses on planting, promoting, and protecting trees in the Upstate region of South Carolina. With the grant, Trees Upstate will expand its outreach to underrepresented Hispanic communities and translate materials into Spanish, promoting environmental stewardship and energy conservation.
