Dubai Tops List as Best Destination for Executive Nomads: Savills Report

Dubai has ranked as the world's best destination for executive nomads for the third year in a row, according to Savills. Abu Dhabi came in second. The UAE's world-class infrastructure, connectivity, and lifestyle advantages continue to attract mobile professionals. Dubai and Abu Dhabi topped the list due to their unbeatable lifestyle and infrastructure, making them ideal destinations for executive nomads.

Abu Dhabi-based technology group G42 is seeking to diversify its chip suppliers for the UAE-U.S. AI campus, according to a recent report by Semafor [1]. The initiative comes as part of the group's efforts to expand its data center tenants and computing capacity beyond Nvidia.

G42 is currently in negotiations with several major American technology firms, including Amazon's AWS cloud, Microsoft, Meta, and Elon Musk's xAI, to become tenants at the data center. Google is the furthest along in these negotiations [1].

In addition to these technology firms, G42 is also exploring partnerships with chipmakers AMD, Cerebras Systems, and Qualcomm to supply some of the computing capacity at the campus [1]. The group aims to enhance the diversity of its chip suppliers, which could potentially lead to increased innovation and cost efficiency.

The AI campus was announced during a visit by US President Donald Trump to the UAE in May 2019, with deals totaling over $200 billion [1]. This strategic initiative underscores the UAE's commitment to advancing artificial intelligence and leveraging its infrastructure to attract mobile professionals and technology firms.
