AAPL--

iPhone users planning to trade in their device for a new iPhone 17 or iPhone 17 Pro should remember to turn off Stolen Device Protection to avoid a one-hour delay at the Apple Store. This feature, introduced in 2023, aims to prevent theft by requiring biometric verification to make sensitive changes, such as turning off Find My. To turn off Stolen Device Protection, go to Settings, then tap Face ID & Passcode, enter your device passcode, and toggle the switch off.
