Australian real-estate operator Dexus's buyback behavior has been inconsistent, with the company pausing the buyback ahead of its disappointing third-quarter update and not purchasing stock for a week, according to Jefferies analyst Andrew Dodds. Despite management's positive commentary on the buyback as a capital management tool, the stock has been down 20% in 2026 and appears disconnected to net tangible assets. Jefferies has a hold rating on the stock with a target price of A$5.60.
