Designer Brands Confirms Layoffs Across Operations and Brands in Early 2026

Designer Brands, parent company of DSW, has conducted a round of layoffs across operations and brands. The company says the changes simplify its organizational structure, reduce complexity, and improve speed and accountability. Designer Brands joins the list of footwear and fashion firms conducting layoffs in early 2026, with over 17,250 job losses in 2025.
