LOS ALTOS, Calif., July 02, 2025 — Descope, a drag & drop external Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization. This significant milestone allows government agencies and organizations requiring FedRAMP-authorized software to utilize Descope for secure and frictionless identity management for citizens, business customers, partners, and AI agents [1].

Descope's no-code/low-code external IAM platform enables organizations to easily create, modify, and manage identity journeys for their users using visual workflows. This achievement marks a crucial step in Descope's mission to provide secure authentication and identity management solutions to federal agencies and other organizations [1].

The platform, which is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace, offers a suite of features including login, signup, multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and fine-grained access control. Descope's Agentic Identity Hub also provides developer tools to add authentication and scope-based access control for AI agents, APIs, and machine-to-machine (MCP) servers [1].

Descope achieved FedRAMP High Authorization through the Palantir FedStart program, which provides companies access to Palantir’s secure software development infrastructure, cloud expertise, and deep government accreditation experience [1].

The company's co-founder and CEO, Slavik Markovich, stated, "Descope was founded to help organizations easily provide frictionless and secure authentication experiences to their end users and other external stakeholders. We are delighted to achieve FedRAMP High Authorization and look forward to helping government agencies deliver seamless and omnichannel G2C user experiences, meet MFA regulatory mandates, and securely adopt agentic AI with identity guardrails" [1].

Descope joins other companies like Cellebrite, which has also made progress in its FedRAMP High authorization journey. Cellebrite, a digital investigative solutions provider, recently secured the U.S. Department of Justice as its official sponsoring agency for FedRAMP High authorization, moving its Government Cloud (CGC) from FedRAMP High Ready status to "In Process" status [2].

This sponsorship accelerates Cellebrite's compliance journey towards full Authorization to Operate (ATO), positioning the company advantageously in the federal market. The initial cloud offering from Cellebrite includes two key products: Cellebrite Inseyets for digital forensics capabilities and Cellebrite Guardian for evidence review, sharing, and storage [2].

Both Descope and Cellebrite's achievements underscore the growing importance of secure, cloud-based solutions for government agencies and organizations handling sensitive data. As federal agencies continue to modernize their identity management systems and align with cybersecurity initiatives, these advancements provide a pathway for enhanced security and operational efficiency.
