Delhi Air Quality Remains Hazardous, Government Enforces Strict Curbs Amid Dense Fog and Cold Wave

Delhi's air quality remains hazardous, with several areas slipping into severe AQI levels. The Delhi government has tightened curbs, enforcing Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage IV restrictions, including restrictions on non-Delhi private vehicles and vehicles carrying construction material. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has implemented these measures to improve air quality, which is expected to impact around 1.2 million vehicles entering Delhi daily.
