Intuition, a blockchain platform designed for Information Finance (InfoFi), has launched its mainnet and $TRUST token, marking a pivotal step in its mission to establish a decentralized trust layer for the internet. The project, backed by ConsenSys and other prominent investors, aims to transform how information, identity, and trust are verified and shared across digital ecosystems. The mainnet follows an extensive beta and testnet phase that attracted 244,000 participants and processed over 5 million transactions and attestations on Base, according to a CryptoBriefing report.

The platform's core innovation lies in its ability to convert crowdsourced attestations into a verifiable knowledge graph. Each claim is cryptographically signed and linked to decentralized identifiers, creating a transparent record of provenance and reliability. This structured data allows developers and AI systems to assess trustworthiness, derive probabilistic trust scores, and build applications on verified information. "Today's mainnet launch marks the culmination of years of work to decentralize how information and the value it creates flow across the web," said Billy Luedtke, Intuition's founder and CEO. He emphasized the shift from using decentralized infrastructure solely for finance to decentralizing information itself, enabling direct access to trusted data without intermediaries, CryptoBriefing reported.

Intuition's architecture is optimized for high-throughput information operations, built as an Arbitrum Orbit layer 3 rollup that settles on Base. This design supports identity, reputation, and knowledge systems while leveraging Ethereum's security. The testnet demonstrated robust performance, with 17.5 million transactions across 900,000 unique accounts in its final phase, according to a Cointribune report. Such traction is rare for layer 3 projects, underscoring demand for decentralized data primitives.

The project has raised $8.5 million in funding from investors including Shima Capital, Superscrypt, ConsenSys, Polygon, and F-Prime, with CoinList and Legion also participating. Scott Keto, President of CoinList, highlighted Intuition's potential to unlock a "new information finance category" by aligning incentives around structured, portable knowledge, CryptoBriefing reported. The $TRUST token serves as the native utility token, enabling transactions, curation, and governance. It also facilitates economic mechanisms that link informational quality to user incentives, such as staking to validate claims or paying for access to verified data.

Intuition's vision extends beyond blockchain, with partnerships aiming to integrate on-chain identity and knowledge systems into traditional digital infrastructure. Collaborations with Google Cloud, MetaMask, and others aim to bridge decentralized apps with broader ecosystems, Cointribune reported. As AI's reliance on data grows, platforms like Intuition could address critical challenges around misinformation and bias by providing traceable, verified data sources.
