Crypto Exchanges Unveil AB Token Rebranding: No Impact on Assets, Staking

On February 18, 2025, several cryptocurrency exchanges, including HTX, MEXC, and 4E, will upgrade the token code for the AB project. The NEW token will be renamed to AB, with no impact on asset quantity, address format, or the use of other ecosystem functions. NewPay will also be upgraded accordingly, and users only need to update the app to view information about the AB token.

The total supply of tokens and NEW assets in staking will not be affected. However, the NewForce staking mining service has been terminated, and users are advised to unstake as soon as possible. It is important to note that this upgrade only involves a rebranding change and does not require any token replacement operation. Users should be cautious of false information claiming a need for token replacement.
