"CrossFi Unveils EXE: First Interchain AI Utility Protocol"
CrossFi, a leading player in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, has unveiled EXE, a pioneering interchain protocol designed to accelerate AI and web3 innovation. Set to launch on February 11, EXE introduces a native $EXE token to power network activity, marking the first interchain AI utility protocol.
To celebrate the launch of EXE, CrossFi has allocated tokens to the Plex community at a special rate of $0.001, enabling 1 $PLEX to be exchanged for 10 $EXE. Tokens will be claimable from February 11, allowing Plex members to explore opportunities on EXE's protocol. EXE is designed to support a range of AI-related services, including decentralized GPU compute, AI dapps, and autonomous agents, driving novel applications at the intersection of DeFi and AI.
Currently, onchain AI development is fragmented across multiple chains, each optimized for specific use cases. EXE aims to aggregate this activity, enabling dapps to seamlessly collaborate, pay for GPU power from multiple sources, and coordinate tasks among themselves. Using EXE, AI developers can register their dapp, describe its functions, and let the network's smart contracts handle matchmaking, service discovery, and payments. Dapps can chain their specialized skills together, driving lower GPU costs and an agent-friendly environment where agents can discover each other via EXE's knowledge graph.
By merging CrossFi's established L1 blockchain with a dedicated AI utility token, EXE seeks to create an AI ecosystem that's cost-effective, agent-friendly, and ready for mass adoption. Built on CrossFi's L1, which integrates EVM and Cosmos seamlessly, EXE provides opportunities for network users to earn rewards as human contributors for tasks such as data labeling and providing specialized reviews.
EXE incorporates advanced technologies like zk-proofs for M2M (machine-to-machine) transactions, ensuring both data confidentiality and transaction integrity. This creates a secure environment where AI agents can collaborate or pay for GPU resources without exposing proprietary information to the network. By combining M2M operations between dapps and agents with micro-tasks that human operators can perform, EXE will develop a thriving economy that rewards work directly in the form of $EXE. This includes supporting more complex tasks, such as code reviews or creative design, creating a crowd-sourced layer of human intelligence within an agent
