Consumer confidence in the UK has reached a nine-month low due to concerns over family finances and job security, according to a report by S&P Global. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has also forecast that the UK economy will lag behind the US and Canada this year and next, despite Chancellor Rachel Reeves' efforts to boost growth.
