SAP has announced the general availability of the Configuration Localization Tool (CLT) with the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508 release, now available for the 3-system landscape environment. This marks a significant milestone in enabling customers and partners to create and manage customer local versions at scale with greater flexibility and control [1].

The CLT supports local versions for 60 countries/regions in 34 languages, allowing businesses to manage customers' business processes while staying compliant with country/region-specific regulations around accounting, taxes, payments, statutory reporting, and electronic document processing [1]. For markets beyond these 60 SAP-delivered local versions, customers and partners can build customer local versions on a project basis for up to 160 countries/regions using the CLT [1].

Early Adoption Program data indicates strong customer interest, with 86 customers live and 78 unique customer local versions built in collaboration with 63 partners.
