Community Anger Over Proposed McDonald's Location Near Dromana

The Mornington Peninsula community has lost a six-year battle against a beachside fast-food outlet proposed by AA Holdings, despite serious safety concerns and more than 500 objections from residents. The outlet will be located less than 100 meters from the water and is expected to service the nearby Dromana township. Critics argue that the outlet will put pressure on small businesses and reduce the variety of cuisine available.
