ComEd Appoints Elizabeth Buchanan and Stephen Bowman to Board of Directors

ComEd has appointed Elizabeth "Liz" Buchanan, 39, president of NielsenIQ, North America, and Stephen "Biff" Bowman, 61, retired CFO of The Northern Trust Company, to its Board, expanding its independent directors to five out of seven directors. The new appointments aim to diversify the board and contribute to ComEd's governance and strategic direction.

In a move to enhance its board's independence and diversity, ComEd, a leading Chicago-based electric utility company, has appointed Elizabeth "Liz" Buchanan and Stephen "Biff" Bowman to its board of directors. Buchanan, 39, brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, business development, and growth from her tenure at NielsenIQ, while Bowman, 61, retired CFO of The Northern Trust Company, adds a wealth of financial expertise and experience in governance.

Buchanan, who recently served as the President of North America Business at NielsenIQ [1], has a proven track record in driving business transformation and delivering exceptional results within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry. In her new role at ComEd, she will contribute to the company's strategic direction, strengthen partnerships, and enhance its market presence.

Apart from her corporate accomplishments, Buchanan is an active member of several esteemed boards, including World Business Chicago, Chicago Humanities, and Cradles to Crayons.
