ComEd Appoints Ajit Apte as SVP of Customer Operations to Enhance Customer Experience.

ComEd has appointed Ajit Apte as SVP of Customer Operations, effective earlier this month. Apte has over two decades of experience in the industry and at Exelon, and will lead ComEd's customer-facing teams. He will help enhance the customer experience for over 9 million people served in northern Illinois, including delivering programs to reduce energy usage and connecting in-need customers with billing assistance options. Apte brings extensive board and community service experience to the role.
