Coeur Mining has agreed to acquire New Gold in an all-stock deal valued at approximately $7 billion. The combined company will have a pro forma market capitalization of about $20 billion and operate seven North American mines. Production in 2026 is expected to reach approximately 1.25 million gold equivalent ounces. The deal positions the new entity among the top 10 global precious metals producers and top five silver producers.
