Cleveland Research: E. Coli outbreak at McDonald's (MCD.US) to severely weigh on Q4 comparable sales

Cleveland Research said the impact of the E. coli outbreak at McDonald's (MCD.US) was more severe than expected, with comparable sales in October and November far below initial expectations. The firm cut its fourth-quarter comparable sales growth estimate to -1.5% from 2% prior to the E. coli outbreak.
