Citizens Financial Group Appoints Barclays CFO Aunoy Banerjee as New Chief Financial Officer

Citizens Financial Group has appointed Aunoy Banerjee as Chief Financial Officer, effective October 24. Banerjee joins from Barclays, where he led the CFO of Barclays Bank PLC. He will oversee the Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Line Finance Groups, and other functions. Banerjee has a 25-year financial services background, including roles at State Street and Citi. He replaces John Woods, who will depart on August 15.
