On October 8th, Eastern Time (Wednesday), the three major U.S. stock indices showed mixed results. The S&P 500 index rose by 0.58%, closing at 6753.72 points; the Dow Jones index fell by 0.00%, closing at 46601.78 points; and the Nasdaq index rose by 1.12%, closing at 23043.38 points.

On October 8th, the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index increased by 0.87%.

As for popular Chinese concept stocks, NIONIO-- rose by 4.60%, TSMC climbed by 3.56%, NetEase increased by 2.90%, BilibiliBILI-- rose by 2.74%, XPengXPEV-- Motors increased by 2.20%, JDJD--.com rose by 0.26%, Pinduoduo increased by 0.22%, BaiduBIDU-- fell by 0.75%, and AlibabaBABA-- decreased by 0.09%.

Among continuously rising Chinese concept stocks, Longteng Acquisition rose by 0.10% over 10 consecutive days, with a total cycle increase of 0.29%. Tianjing Bio increased by 16.02% over 7 consecutive days, with a total cycle gain of 48.25%. Eureka Acquisition rose by 0.19% over 6 consecutive days, with a total cycle increase of 0.27%. Nature Medicine increased by 82.98% over 6 consecutive days, with a total cycle gain of 125.24%. Zhengye Bio rose by 4.76% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle increase of 26.75%. JiuFu rose by 1.85% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle increase of 9.00%. Green Globe USA increased by 2.47% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle gain of 14.94%.

Among continuously falling Chinese concept stocks, Julong Holdings fell by 1.44% over 6 consecutive days, with a total cycle decrease of 12.55%. Huazhu decreased by 0.74% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle decrease of 3.82%. Fogcore Technology fell by 3.25% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle decrease of 9.85%. Sohu fell by 0.27% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle decrease of 4.84%. Haoxin Holdings fell by 2.94% over 5 consecutive days, with a total cycle decrease of 14.29%. Alipay reported that during the first five days of the National Day holiday this year, the consumption amount by inbound tourists using Alipay increased nearly 40% compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the consumption amount by foreign friends using "Alipay Tap" increased by 500% year-on-year.

Tuniu Travel Network released the "2025 National Day Mid-Autumn Festival Tourism Consumption Review," analyzing the travel behavior and tourism consumption of Tuniu users during this year's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. The report shows that the number of trips by Tuniu users during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays has grown by double digits compared to the same period last year. There is a significant increase in the popularity of domestic self-driving tours and independent travel, while outbound independent travel has nearly doubled in numbers year-on-year. The festive atmosphere of family fun is strong in the holiday tourism market, with family groups accounting for over 80% of travelers. Tuniu data shows that cities such as Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and Tianjin are among the top popular source cities for the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays this year. The 8-day "ultra-long" holiday provides more ample holiday time for tourists. According to the report, more users chose trips lasting 5 to 6 days. Among domestic long-distance travel users, 46% opted for trips lasting 5 to 6 days; among short-term outbound travel users, 54% chose trips lasting 5 to 6 days; outbound long-term travel users are more inclined to trips lasting 10 to 13 days, accounting for 65% of outbound long-term trips.

On October 8th, Feizhu released the "2025 National Day Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday Travel Bulletin," showing that the average customer price for holiday travel increased by 14.6% year-on-year, with "post-95" tourists accounting for the highest proportion of bookings. This year, the trend of "multi-destination tours" was evident during the National Day Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. The average booking volume of transportation-related products such as air tickets and car rentals increased by 5% year-on-year, while the average booking volume of products such as hotels, tours, and tickets increased by 4.6% year-on-year. Tourists' footprints expanded further, covering over 180 countries and regions, a substantial increase compared to last year.

Recently, Monster Charging, known as the "first shared charging treasure stock," submitted a 13E3 document to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), announcing that the company's board has officially rejected Hillhouse Capital's premium privatization offer proposed in August and decided to continue advancing the original privatization scheme with a consortium formed by Xincheng Capital (a subsidiary of CITIC Capital) and management. Public information shows that on August 15th, Hillhouse Capital issued a preliminary non-binding privatization proposal, offering $1.77 per ADS, approximately 40% higher than the $1.25 per ADS offer signed by Monster Charging management with the consortium formed by Xincheng Capital. As a result, Monster Charging's stock price has significantly risen since mid-August, currently maintaining above $1.3. In January this year, Xincheng Capital and Monster Charging management jointly launched a privatization offer of $1.25 per ADS. Notably, this price is far below the cash asset value of approximately $1.63 per ADS disclosed in Monster Charging's 2024 annual report and is more than 85% lower than the company's listing price of $8.5. As of now, the Monster Charging board has not provided detailed disclosure or explanation as to why they rejected the higher offer.

On October 8th, Trip.com released the "2025 National Day Mid-Autumn Festival Double Festival Tourism Report," indicating that long-distance travel and in-depth experiences have become the main trends for National Day tourism this year. Domestic long-distance travel orders increased by 3 percentage points compared to last year, and outbound long-distance travel was also popular among tourists, with orders for several European destinations doubling. Outbound charter tours showed a trend of deepening, with overall order volume growing by over 120% year-on-year. Additionally, during the holidays, the search heat for "night tours" on Trip.com increased by more than 200% month-on-month.
