China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance: The power battery capacity of China's vehicles in October was 5.92GWh, up 51.0% YoY

Securities Times News, the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released the monthly information of power batteries in October 2024 on November 11. In October, the power battery capacity of China's power batteries was 59.2GWh, up 8.6% month-on-month and 51.0% year-on-year. Among them, the power battery capacity of ternary batteries was 12.2GWh, accounting for 20.6% of the total, down 7.2% month-on-month and down 1.1% year-on-year; the power battery capacity of LFP batteries was 47.0GWh, accounting for 79.4% of the total, up 13.7% month-on-month and up 75.1% year-on-year. From January to October, the cumulative power battery capacity of China was 405.8GWh, up 37.6% year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative power battery capacity of ternary batteries was 111.1GWh, accounting for 27.3% of the total, up 18.3% year-on-year; the cumulative power battery capacity of LFP batteries was 294.5GWh, accounting for 72.6% of the total, up 46.7% year-on-year.
