Chile is set to open its Latin American debt issuance calendar with dollar and euro-denominated bond sales. The government plans to sell six-year and 10-year euro-denominated bonds, as well as five-year dollar-denominated bonds. Chile's public debt has increased in recent years due to persistent deficits, reaching an estimated 42.4% of GDP in 2022 and projected to rise to 43.2% this year. Credit Agricole, JPMorgan Chase, Banco Santander, and Société Générale are acting as bookrunners for the transactions.
