The old Geraldton Gaol in Western Australia has been transformed into art studios called Cell Block Studios. Local artists have revived the historic site, bringing joy and creativity to the former prison. The building was initially a convict depot and prison, but after closing in 1984, it stood empty for four years before the artists saw its potential. Today, the walls are covered in art and stories of its history, with a focus on the women who were once imprisoned there.
