CARV Hackathon Drives Growth of Sovereign AI Beings Ecosystem
CARV, a decentralized AI infrastructure platform, successfully concluded the Tech Fairness Hackathon in collaboration with FAIR3 and HackQuest, marking a significant milestone in the development of sovereign AI Beings [1]. The event attracted over 600 participants and 200 registered projects, with 21 winning teams selected from 30 finalists. The hackathon demonstrated the growing momentum behind agent-based, privacy-first, and modular applications, aligning with CARV’s vision of evolving from data infrastructure into a fully composable, autonomous AI Being Stack [1].
Participants were invited to work on four core infrastructure layers: AI Agent Infra on SVM, Decentralized Data Orchestration via the D.A.T.A. Framework, Modular Identity & Reputation through CARVCARV-- ID, and Open Innovation focused on consumer-facing applications [1]. Standout projects included AI World, Cipher Protocol, DootyCall, NutriMe, and PeachLust, which showcased the potential of decentralized agents in real-world scenarios such as health applications, generative storytelling, and financial assistance, all integrated with identity, data, and onchain logic [1].
Ambero Tu, CTO of CARV, emphasized that the event served as a live lab for testing ideas with developers worldwide, with winning projects representing viable microcosms of the future CARV ecosystem [1]. Several teams demonstrated early success by integrating the CARV ID SDK and experimenting with the D.A.T.A. Framework. The company outlined three key priorities following the event: deploying Agent IDs at scale, launching early agent marketplaces, and driving governance participation through veCARV staking [1].
Victor Yu, COO of CARV, highlighted the next phase of supporting builders through on-chain deployments, testing environments, and access to CARV’s infrastructure [1]. Post-Hackathon initiatives include engineering mentorship, grants and onboarding for top teams, access to user traffic through CARV Play and partner platforms, and opportunities to propose Agent DAO pilots through veCARV governance [1].
CARV views the hackathon as the starting point for an ecosystem of AI Beings—agents that are identity-bound, economically aligned, and designed to serve real users. These agents are built on CARV’s proprietary SVM Chain, D.A.T.A. Framework, and CARV ID system, enabling verifiable, consent-based AI Beings capable of learning, adapting, and co-creating with users [1]. To date, CARV has issued over 8 million CARV IDs, supports 60,000+ verifier nodes, and has integrated with over 1,000 games, bridging AI agents, Web3 infrastructure, and real-world utility [1].
Victor Yu concluded that the hackathon was a proof of concept not only for CARV’s technology but also for its values, including Tech Fairness, Data Sovereignty, and the Agent Economy [1]. The company remains committed to advancing the ecosystem collaboratively, with a focus on building sovereign AI Beings that empower individuals and foster decentralized innovation.
